The location

It’s called “Bolsjefabrikken” which means “The (Hard) Candy Factory” and is a mix of café, workshops, events and lots of creative things.

The name doesn’t mean that this used to be a factory, since the name comes from the old factory buildings in Copenhagen’s Nordvest area where it started.

From what I can find out these buildings used to be repair shops, storage facilities and iron forge, operated and owned by the municipality of Copenhagen

Some of these have also been shared in an Instagram post.

The square in front of the old buildings have since been demolished, as you can see in the images in part 2 below.
